Administration

Aragon is a school with heart and there is no place I would rather be!  Our Aragon families are amazing and I am thrilled to continue serving the students, staff, and community of Aragon.  I have been in Fountain Fort Carson District 8 since 2007 and have been the principal at Aragon since 2010. I have a strong belief in the power of building meaningful relationships, and I am committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels safe, seen, and valued. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is at the heart of all we do while we work together to inspire lifelong learners and compassionate citizens.

A little about me:  My husband and I are both native Texans and attended Texas Tech University.  I have two adult daughters that are out living their best lives and son that is in high school.  In my free time I enjoy cheering on my son on at football games and track meets, traveling, diving into a good book, and dedicating my time to WildBlue Cat rescue.  A fun fact about me is that I have fostered over 180 cats and kittens! 

Hello! I am thrilled to be part of the Aragon family again, now as the Assistant Principal. I taught at Aragon Elementary for 12 years before moving into administration. I was the Assistant Principal at Jordahl Elementary School for 5 years and then the Administrator at Conrad Early Learning Center for 3 years. I have been in the Fountain-Fort Carson District 8 family since 2005. Aragon has always had my heart! I love the prevalent caring culture throughout our school and the community that partners with us. 

My husband, Mark (who also works in FFC8), and I have three boys. Our two oldest, Jonathen and Jaylen, went to Aragon Elementary for their elementary years and graduated from FFCHS. Our youngest son, Jaren, is an 8th grader at Fountain Middle School. He keeps us busy with the travel baseball teams he plays on. I don't know what to do with free days that don't include sports practice or games except for catching up on my sleep and housecleaning.  

I look forward to an amazing school year and supporting our work at Aragon in growing our students.

I have been an Aragon Alligator since 2006. I am currently serving as the Dean of Students. I enjoy partnering with the Aragon community and am excited about working with all Aragon students. Aragon holds a special place in my heart.
