Mrs. Tracey Landrum
It is an honor to be a part of the Aragon family! I am thrilled to continue serving the students, staff, and community of Aragon. I have been in the Fountain Fort Carson District 8 family since 2007 and the principal at Aragon Elementary since 2010. At Aragon, we are committed to ensuring that students feel safe and have a personal connection to their school! Our goal is to incorporate high expectations for learning and achievement through rigorous and relational classrooms where joyful student engagement is a priority.
A little about me: My husband and I are both native Texans that moved to Colorado 16 years ago. We have three delightful children, two daughters and a son. We are a household that loves football, faith, and friends to include the furry ones. We have two cats, a dog, fish, and a frog. I am partial to the cats!! Fall is my favorite season because of my son’s sports and football. I graduated from Texas Tech University and am a Red Raider fan, as well as a New Orleans Saints fan. This causes conflict in my house for months as my husband and oldest daughter are Cowboy’s fans, the middle daughter is a Seahawks fan, and our son decided his team is the Panthers. I very competitively participate in a Fantasy Football league and love to host friends for football gatherings.
Aragon is an amazing place with a strong culture that believes kindness is key and everyone deserves to be treated with respect and learn to his or her maximum potential. I look forward to experiencing this adventure with the phenomenal staff and community that support our students.
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Stephanie Lee
Hello! I am thrilled to be part of the Aragon family again, now as the Assistant Principal. I taught at Aragon Elementary for 12 years before moving into school administration. I was the Assistant Principal at Jordahl Elementary School for 5 years and then the Administrator at Conrad Early Learning Center for 3 years. I have been in the Fountain Fort Carson District 8 family since 2005. Aragon has always had my heart! I love the caring culture that is prevalent throughout our school and the community that partners with us.
My husband, Mark (who also works in FFC8), and I have three boys. Our two oldest, Jonathen and Jaylen, went to Aragon Elementary for their elementary years and have both graduated from FFCHS. Our youngest son, Jaren, is a 6th grader at FMS. He keeps us busy with baseball and football practices almost every evening and tournaments on the weekends. I don't know what to do with any free days that don't include a sport practice or game except for catch up on my sleep and housecleaning.
I look forward to getting to know all of our Aragon families at the different school events and/or special education meetings. When you see me, please stop to say, "Hi!" and introduce yourself. We're going to have an amazing school year!
Dean of Students
Ms. Honea
Welcome to Aragon Elementary School. I am Ms. Honea, Dean of Students.
I love partnering with our Aragon community. On a personal note, I am a Colorado native who enjoys hiking in the mountains year-round and snowboarding in the winter. I have been an Aragon Alligator since 2006 which includes teaching both fifth grade and third grade and currently serving as the Dean of Students. I am excited about working with all Aragon students.
